Obstacle Race portal launched

Net Perceptions owner James Musgrave has a passion for all kinds of multi-sports and a new obsession with obstacle races. With a growing number of events being launched in Australia, he decided to launch a portal website for this niche group of events so others who share his passion can ensure they don’t miss out on any events.

The Tough Bloke Challenge is open to men & women and features lovely things like mud pits and is run in Sydney & Melbourne.

The Mud Run was originally just that, a run in the mud and is held in Sydney. Now it also incorporates obstacles.

The Warrior Dash was brought in from the USA and by all accounts, is a demanding obstacle course race.

The Stampede is run in Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney and raises money for worth charities. In it’s first year, it was known as The Valley Stampede was held on the NSW Central Coast.

The Urbanathlon is run by Men’s Health Magazine, and we don’t know a lot about this event yet, but it’s sure to get your grubby and thirsty by the end.

The Tough Mudder, held in Sydney & Melbourne is another charity event. This is the intense race. It’s 20km worth of running and will test even the strongest athlete. Make sure you train up hard for this one.

New events in the works are the Spartan Race, the Big Beach Dash and the Beach Bash.
